SecureInfo Security Expert to Discuss Key Tenets required to Transition from to DITSCAP to DIACAP Compliance
What:
As part of SecureInfo’s seminar series, “Transitioning from DITSCAP-to-DIACAP” presents principles for accomplishing the DIACAP (DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process) compliance process for DoD information systems previously accredited using DITSCAP. Attendees will learn the concepts and theories required to develop a complete DIACAP compliance package for information systems. Attendees will also learn about supporting documents, including the System Identification Profile, Implementation Plan, Validation Results, Supporting Artifacts, DIACAP scorecard, and the Plan of Action & Milestones (POA&M) needed to meet FISMA requirements.
Why:
With DIACAP replacing the previous DITSCAP standard, organizations are seeking guidance on how to implement these controls into the DoD’s net-centric framework. This educational seminar focuses on the DIACAP process as a whole and presents required deliverables, recommended optional documents, and supporting documents that are referenced within the IA controls.
