SecureInfo Selected to Present at AFCEA Tactical C4 U.S. Army Conference

SecureInfo Experts to Deliver Department of Defense DIACAP Compliance Process Training

What: SecureInfo has been selected by the SANS Institute as their sole partner to develop and deliver NIST and DIACAP (DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process) compliance training. This educational seminar on “Transitioning from DITSCAP-to-DIACAP Information Assurance Compliance Process” will present principles for accomplishing the new DIACAP compliance process for DoD information systems previously accredited using DITSCAP. Attendees will learn the concepts and theories required to develop a complete DIACAP compliance package on the Information System (IS) being assessed. Attendees will also learn where to begin to identify supporting documents, including the System Identification Profile, Implementation Plan, Validation Results, Supporting Artifacts, DIACAP scorecard, and the Plan of Action & Milestones (POA&M) needed for FISMA requirements.

Why: With the emergence of DIACAP replacing the previous DITSCAP compliance standard, organizations are seeking guidance to implement these controls into the DoD's net-centric framework. The new DIACAP process details the standard processes for the identification, implementation and validation of information assurance controls of the use of DoD information systems and the management of information assurance across the defense enterprise.
