Jerry Harold

Mr. Harold has more than 20 years of experience developing, managing and delivering innovative information assurance and cyber security solutions to the US Intelligence Community and federal civilian agencies.  He has held several executive, senior management and senior program management positions within private sector organizations and federal agencies where he was responsible for management and delivery of cyber and information assurance services.

Mr. Harold co-founded NetSec, a start-up, pioneer of the managed security services industry, and helped grow the company to an industry leader, delivering advanced security services to federal agencies, Fortune 100 and international companies. At NetSec, Mr.  Harold built the professional security services organization and held the position of Vice President for professional security services both before and after the company’s successful acquisition by MCI/Verizon Business.

Mr. Harold was Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at an international commercial bank responsible for IT security within western-hemisphere bank operations. As an intelligence analyst and professionalized information assurance officer, he supported the intelligence community’s early efforts to develop vulnerability assessment and risk management techniques for high-assurance systems at military commands and intelligence agencies. He has been a frequent contributor, speaker, and author on security management topics in the federal government.
