Senior SW Engineer
Location: Ft Belvoir, VA
Description: Seeking a Blue Team Analyst to become part of the 1st Information Operations program in Ft. Belvoir, VA to provide technical support for Blue Team assessments.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Perform network and system penetration testing
- Researches and analyzes known hacker methodology, system exploits and vulnerabilities to support Blue Team Assessment activities
- Create written reports, detailing assessment findings and recommendations
- Provide oral briefings to leadership and technical staff, as necessary
- Provide occasional, assistance with the development and maintenance of internal Blue Team methodology, to include training program
Minimum Qualifications: To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
- Five years of Information Security (INFOSEC) experience with relative bachelor’s degree. In lieu of bachelor’s degree, nine years of INFOSEC experience.
- Strong foundation and knowledge of INFOSEC
- Solid understanding of computer networking, to include TCP/IP
- Practical experience with UNIX and Windows operating systems, Intrusion Detection/ Prevention Systems (IDS/ IPS), and Firewalls
- Familiarity with common programming or scripting languages (e.g. C/C++ or Perl)
- Willingness to travel, approximately 35%, to stateside and international locations
- Current CISSP, CISA, or Security+ certification
Security: Must possess an active TS/SCI Clearance
