Senior Network Administrator

Location: San Antonio, TX

Job Summary:
The Senior Network Administrator will be responsible for implementing, securing, maintaining and troubleshooting SecureInfo's networking infrastructure and all corporate-wide network systems. Assisting with server systems administration, voice system administration and customer support tasks as well as performing scheduled maintenance, unscheduled maintenance, network security tasks and any other tasks deemed necessary for Information Systems (IS) mission accomplishment required.

Responsibilities:

• Designs, implements, documents and maintains company-wide, fault-tolerant and scaleable local area network (LAN) infrastructures and wide area network (WAN) technologies
• Installs, maintains, configures and troubleshoots routers, firewalls, VPN devices, filters/gateways, network and systems monitoring and switching hardware
• Installs, maintains, configures and documents all network security hardware and devices such as intrusion detection/prevention systems and network auditing systems

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate must have comprehensive knowledge of common protocols in the seven-layer OSI model, Cisco IOS, addressing and subnetting, network security, firewall and proxy configurations, as well as at robust understanding of both UNIX and Window operating systems. Conversant knowledge of server application systems and client productivity tools required. Bachelor's degree with 8-10 years LAN/WAN experience desired. The successful candidate will possess a CCNA certification; CCIE certification a plus.
